Pressure gradient effect on spin-crossover materials: Experiment vs theory

We studied the effect of non-hydrostatic pressure on hysteretic spin crossover in coordination complexes. By introducing into an Ising-like model a double distribution interactions and gap energy, respectively, we were able to generate major hysteresis loop first-order reversal curve (FORC) diagram for spin-crossover systems 106 hysterons (like-spin domains). show that, high gradients around system, thermal takes asymmetric shape, good agreement with experimental data recorded at low temperatures, below solidification transmitting medium. Interestingly, FORC method seems be much more sensitive local changes than “bulk” parameters, which characterize loop.
